Dr. Errick Farmer

State Director


A native of Monticello, Florida, Bro. Dr. Errick Farmer was initiated in 2004 through the Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter in Tallahassee. FL. Bro. Dr. Farmer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications from Florida State University; as well as a Master’s Degree in Applied Social Science, with a concentration in Public Administration and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership, both from Florida A&M University. Bro. Dr. Farmer currently serves as a Assistant Professor of Professional Leadership Development in the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University as well as the advisor to the Mu Epsilon chapter at Florida State University. Bro. Dr. Farmer is married to Gayla Farmer, and he currently serves the Beta Lambda Sigma chapter in Tallahassee FL.

Bro. Mount is from Malone, FL and graduated from Malone High School in 1977. He graduated from Chipola College in 1979, and followed by a graduation from the University of South Florida in 1982, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. He was initiated into the Zeta Xi Chapter in Fall 1979. He is currently the President of the Gamma Eta Sigma Chapter in Tampa, is a member of Outstanding Sigmas of the Southern Region (OSSR), and a member of Allen Temple AME Church in Tampa, FL.

Bro. Daniel Smith

Director of Collegiate Affairs


Daniel is originally from Bainbridge, GA but now resides in Tampa, FL. Daniel was initiated Fall 2010 into the Gamma Eta Sigma Chapter in Tampa, FL. He is currently employed with the United States Air Force, as a member of the 6th Security Forces Squadron at Macdill, AFB and currently holds the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has his B.S. in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and A.A.S. in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force. He lives by the personal motto of "Be Better than Successful... BE SIGNIFICANT".

A native of Fort Pierce, Florida, Dexter C. Hall joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity on November 17, 2013 through the alumni chapter of Gamma Eta Sigma in Tampa, FL. He has served in the United States Army for eight years. Dexter has received his Bachelor of Science in Management (2011) from University of Phoenix and his Masters of Art in Management & Leadership (2014) from Liberty University. Dexter is currently employed by Duke Energy as an Scrubber Operator. Dexter volunteers coaching football as Running Back/Recruiting Coordinator Coach at Crystal River High in Crystal River, Florida. Also, he currently serves as the Recording Secretary for Gamma Eta Sigma chapter in Tampa, FL.

Bro. Michael D. Moody currently serves as the State Director of Education. Bro. Moody was initiated into the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of the fraternity at Dillard University (New Orleans, La.) in the Fall of 1978. Bro. Moody earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Dillard University in 1980. He is also the Chapter President of Gamma Delta Sigma Chapter (A Founders Level Chapter) in Orlando Florida. Brother Moody is employed as a Compliance Officer with the US Dept. of Labor and is a retired Lieutenant Colonel (US Army).

Bro. Jason Edgar currently serves as the State Director of Social Action, and is the current president of the Nu Beta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. - a position he was elected to in December 2013. He believes in harnessing and guiding the collective skills and abilities of Sigma men in the Florida to meet the goals of the Fraternity - educating, empowering, serving and supporting the community, as opposed to having an exclusive purpose. After all, if you want to change the nation, you must first change your neighborhood. Jason is a graduate of Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, where he earned his BS degree in Operations Management. He has also earned his MBA in Business Administration from the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, FL. He has been a member of the Fraternity since 1986 - when he joined through the undergraduate chapter (Theta Xi) of the Fraternity at Syracuse University.

Bro. Gibson is a graduate of Florida Memorial College, currently known as Florida Memorial University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1996. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling in 2005. He received his Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership in 2008. He has been a teacher for The Miami-Dade County Public School System for the past nineteen years. He was the recipient of the Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2001 and the Florida Sigma's Man of the Year Award in 2014. He currently serves as the Graduate Chapter President of the Rho Sigma Chapter.

Bro. Dr. Phillip Harris was initiated in 2000 through the Zeta Xi Chapter at the University of South Florida. Bro. Harris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of South Florida; as well as a Master’s in Business Administration, as well as a Doctorate degree from Argosy University. In November 2014 Bro. Harris was selected as the Deputy Director of Youth Program Operations for the Department of Children’s Services with Hillsborough County Government. In this position, Bro. Harris is responsible for the daily operations of all direct care residential program services for youth/young adults 10-21 years of age. Bro. Dr. Harris serves as a Commissioner Ex-officio for Volunteer Florida’s (VF) Commission. Additionally, Bro. Harris is active in the Tampa Bay area community through St. Petersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, National Sigma Beta Club Foundation, National Forum for Black Public Administrators, Florida Association for Volunteer Resource Management (FAVRM), Deltona Lodge No. 756 F&AM P.H.A., Sunshine City Consistory No. 147 A.A.S.R., P.H.A.; Founder of The Crescent Foundation, Inc., Girls, Inc. He is a charter member of the Rotaract Club of Gainesville and an active member of the African-American Accountability Alliance. Currently Bro. Pryor serves as the 1st Vice President of the Epsilon Omicron Sigma Chapter in Gainesville Florida and as the advisor to the Zeta Kappa chapter at the University of Florida.

He is the Assistant Director of Scheduling and Motor Coach Operations at Mears Transportation Group. He currently serves as the Board Chair for Young Fathers of Central Florida, the Vice-President of the Board for the F.A.R.S.T. Foundation, a Relay for Life of Eatonville Committee member,a Zeta Foundation Board member and a volunteer for the March of Dimes, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Golf Ministry. He is also the advisor for the Iota Rho Chapter.

Bro. WIlson was born in Long Beach, CA. and went to graduate from Miami Carol City Sr. High in 1986. He received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Florida Memorial University in 2002, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 2011, and a Master Degree in Logistics Management from the American Military University in 2013. Bro. Wilson was initiated into The Fraternity in April 2009. He currently serves as the Rho Sigma Chapter Treasurer, M.I.P. Coordinator, and Collegiate Advisor. He was the recipient of Rho Sigma's Sigma Man of the Year in 2012, and Florida Sigma's Man of the Year in 2013
